SCOPE OF WORK: This project is being bid in accordance with the state's DVBE/SBE participation program. As a responsible General Contractor, S.J. Amoroso Construction Co., Inc. will aggressively pursue subcontractor participation in excess of minimum requirements. We are requesting sub-bids from qualified bidders on the following scope of work (but not limited to); Earthwork, AC Paving, Site Concrete, Building Concrete, Landscaping, CMU, Structural Steel, Miscellaneous Metal, Finish Carpentry, Waterproofing, Roofing, Fireproofing, L P S DW, Painting and Wallcovering, Doors, Frames & Hardware, Flashing & Sheet Metal, Tile, Acoustical Ceilings, Fiberglass Panels, Visual Display Boards, Window Treatments, Elevators, Plumbing, HVAC, and Electrical and other appurtenances.
The above list is not a complete list of the work necessary to construct the above mentioned project. We are willing to break out certain portions of work into smaller increments in order to allow smaller companies a fair opportunity to bid this project and are prepared to assist subcontractors with bonding, credit, and insurance.

SUBCONTRACTORS: are encouraged to review the general requirements for special insurance and other requirements. If assistance is needed regarding bonds or insurance, please feel free to contact us. S.J. Amoroso Construction Co., Inc. (Amoroso) may require subcontractors to provide 100% Payment & Performance Bonds, from a California admitted surety with an AM Best rating of A-VII or better, as a condition of contract. Amoroso is signatory to the Carpenter's Collective Bargaining Agreement. Amoroso strongly encourages the use of qualified M/W/D/O/S/DVBE subcontractors and vendors. It is the subcontractor's responsibility to review the Owner's General and Special Conditions for this project, as they will be binding. Subcontractors will also be required to execute Amoroso's standard Subcontract Agreement and comply with Amoroso's standard insurance requirements, both without modification, should we both be awarded this project.
