Facility, at the southeastern corner of Rancho Santa Fe Road and San Marcos Blvd. in the City of San Marcos. No
street address is available at this facility. Access to the site is via the Water Authority’s existing access road off
La Tierra Drive or La Bonita Drive as shown on the Plans. See Thomas Brothers Guide (2013 Edition), Page
1128 Grid C2.
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The work, in general, includes excavation and disposal of lead-contaminated soil,
construction of a new Carlsbad 6 Flow Control Facility, rehabilitation of the existing Pipeline 3 and Pipeline 4
turnout structures, demolition of the existing Carlsbad 1 FCF, and all other appurtenant work as required by
the Contract Documents.

LHWS encourages all interested SBE, DVBE, MBE, WBE and OBE companies to contact us at least 2 days prior to the bid due
date to review with us your proposed scope of work. If bonds are required, LHWS will pay the cost of the bond to a maximum
of 1% of the contract value. LHWS is willing to assist all SBE, DVBE, MBE, WBE, AND OBE subcontractors/suppliers in obtaining
bonds, lines of credit, and/or insurance. Please contact Leslie Brazier at LHWS at the address and phone number above for
assistance. LHWS is willing to work with all qualified subcontractors/suppliers to establish acceptable delivery schedules,
when work requirements permit. The schedule is the sole responsibility of LHWS and will not be mutually agreed upon.
Subcontractors will be required to abide by the terms of the AGC Master Labor Agreements and to execute an agreement
utilizing the latest L. H. Woods & Sons, Inc. Standard Subcontract/Purchase Agreement incorporating prime contract terms
