Ghilotti Construction Company is preparing a bid on the above referenced project. If your firm is interested in submitting a quote to us as a subcontractor and/or supplier, please advise us by FAX or phone ASAP. Your firm must be currently certified as a MBE/WBE firm with an agency acceptable to the ACFCWCD. PLEASE SUBMIT A COPY OF YOUR CURRENT CERTIFICATION WITH YOUR BID.
We are especially seeking quotes in such areas as outlined below. The project lists many, but not necessarily all divisions of work. It is advisable that you contact the referenced Estimator to discuss this project.
Quotes requested include, but are not limited to, the following scopes of work:
WATER POLLUTION CONTROL WORK, STREET SWEEPING, EROSION CONTROL, DAILY NON-STORM WATER SAMPLING AND REPORTING, STORM WATER ANALYSIS & REPORTING, TEMPORARY 6’ HIGH CHAIN LINK FENCE & GATES, TEMPORARY BIOLOGICAL EXCLUSION FENCING (TYPE SSSB), TEMPORARY ENVIRONMENTAL SENSITIVE AREA FENCE (TYPE ESA), REMOVE BARBED WIRE FENCE, CLEAR & GRUB, TREE REMOVAL, TRAFFIC CONTROL, CAS, DE-WATERING, ADDITIONAL BAKER TANK, ADDITIONAL CARBON VESSEL, MILLING, 7’ X 6’ REINFORCED CONCRETE BOX CULVERT (CAST-IN-PLACE), STRUCTURE CONCRETE, ANTI-GRAFFITI COATING, MINOR CONCRETE, COBBLESTONE PAVING, THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPE, 6’ HIGH VINYL CLAD CHAIN LINK FENCE, 6’ HIGH VINYL CLAD DOUBLE LEAF CHAIN LINK GATE, 4.5’ HIGH BARBED WIRE FENCE (TYPE BW), COIR BOCK, LANDSCAPE, TRUCKING, SUPPLIERS OF CONCRETE, AGGREGATE AND ASPHALT

Mr. Thomas Smith (707/585-1221 tom@ghilotti.com) is the Estimator for this project and is available to provide you with assistance to clarify any questions regarding the scope of work, including interpretation of plans, specifications and requirements, bid preparation and obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance and any technical assistance. GCC may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. (Please note: G.C.C. may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. G.C.C. will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. G.C.C. is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.) Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. GCC’s written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection on GCC’s website (www.ghilotti.com) and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.
Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming GCC as additional insured; including completed operations coverage; Use form ‘CG-2010-1185’ or equivalent; include Primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
