Requests bids from qualified SLBE-ELBE Subcontractors and Suppliers for the following project:

City of San Diego

Civita Park Phase 1 and Phase 4

Project Description: The Project includes work on Private land to remain Private (Private) and Private land to be Dedicated to the City as Public land (Public). The work on the Private land to be Dedicated to the City as Public land (Public) is subject to the PDA and therefore requires separation of the Public Costs from the Private Costs to meet the PDA conditions. The Private land to remain private is NOT subject to Prevailing Wage Rates. A color coded and annotated Exhibit depicting the Public and Private areas is included as an Attachment to the Invitation To Bid labeled CIVITA Park Phase 1 & 4 Lot Line Exhibit. The appropriate columnar apportionment of the costs has also been indicated in the Proposal Bid Form.

T.B. Penick & Sons, Inc. requests subcontractor bids from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified SLBE-ELBE firms performing the following items of work, including but not limited to: Demo, grading, earthwork, landscape, irrigation, site furnishing, ac paving, striping, concrete, precast concrete, fencing, signage, bleachers, shade structures, bicycle racks, playground equipment, underground utilities, fire sprinkler, plumbing, electrical, rebar, masonry, paint, standing seam metal roof, roll up doors, metal doors and hardware, casework, toilet partitions and accessories, rough carpentry, wood roof sheathing, and others.

Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary.  T.B. Penick & Sons, Inc. will work with interested SLBE-ELBE subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.
