is seeking quotes from certified DBE suppliers, subcontractors and service providers for the

Plaza Drive Interchange Landscaping Project

for the City of Visalia, California. 
This is the City of  Visalia

**CONTRACT NO. 2810-72000/CP8315-999.
The work will be in Visalia, along Plaza Drive from Airport Drive to
Goshen Avenue and along SR 198 from SR99 to Plaza Drive.

This project bids October 3, 2014 at 2:30 pm.
Please submit quotes no later than 11 am on bid day.

With your quote, please include the project number and bid date, and be sure to provide your name and contact information and, if applicable, your Contractor's License Number and DBE Certification Number.

We request quotes from service providers and subcontractors, particularly certified DBEs for work, including, but not limited to the following bid items:
RESIDENT ENGINEERS OFFICE, LEAD COMPLIANCE PLAN, PROGRESS SCHEDULE (CRITICAL PATH METHOD), CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS, TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM, PORTABLE CHANGEABLE MESSAGE SIGN, JOB SITE MANAGEMENT, PREPARE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PROGRAM, TEMPORARY DRAINAGE INLET PROTECTION, STREET SWEEPING, ROADSIDE CLEARING, DRY STACKED COBBLE STONE, MAINTAIN EXISTING PLANTED AREAS, PLANT ESTABLISHMENT WORK (3 YEARS), WOOD MULCH, and ELECTRIC SERVICE (IRRIGATION).

We request quotes from vendors, particularly Certified DBE vendors who are manufacturers or regular dealers as defined by 49 CFR 26.55 for all materials and supplies required for this project.  This includes, but is not limited to: Portable Changeable Message Signs, Wood Mulch, Soil Amendment,  Fertilizer, Plant Materials and Irrigation Materials for this project, which includes Armor Clad wire, PVC pipe, irrigation
controllers and cabinets, various valves, backflow preventer assemblies, flow sensors, wye strainer assemblies and sprinklers and risers.

We will consider quotes for any work on this project, including work we traditionally perform with our own forces to insure DBE participation.

Plans and specs are available at our offices by appointment and at your local builder's exchange.

We will work with interested Subcontractors to identify further opportunities to break bid items down into economically feasible units.
