Project Name: For construction on State Highway in Sonoma County near Cloverdale 2.5 miles west of Cloverdale Boulevard on Hwy 128.
Description: Argonaut Constructors is seeking certified DBE subcontractors and suppliers for this retaining wall and slope protection project.
Engineers Estimate: $1,090,000.00
DBE Goal: 12 %
Time for Completion 120 Working Days and Liquidated Damages $3,000.00 per Calendar day

Const. area signs, traffic control, PCMS, thermoplastic, pavement markers, trucking, temporary items
(concrete washout, drainage inlet protection, k-rail, crash cushions, traffic stripe, signal system, ESA fencing, silt fence, pavement marking), lead compliance plan, job site management, erosion control, WPC plan, structural concrete, steel soldier pile and drilled 36 inch hole, treated timber lagging, clean and paint soldier piling, cold plane asphalt, midwest guard rail system, soldier pile wall structure excavation/backfill and concrete backfill, asphalt and aggregate suppliers, tack coat, street sweeping, health and safety plan, prepaving inertial profiler, prepaving grinding, horizontal drain pipe and drill hole for pipe, cable railing, precast concrete pipe inlet and grate, guard railing delineator, channelizer.
Plans: Plans, specifications and project requirements may be reviewed at our office in Santa Rosa. Copies of the contract documents are available from the Caltrans at www.dot.ca.gov or local plan rooms, builder’s exchanges, Dodge Scan as well as in trade publications such as Daily Pacific Builder or Daily Construction Services. Argonaut Constructors encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.

Argonaut Constructors (Argonaut) may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. (Please note: Argonaut may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. Argonaut may pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. Argonaut Constructors is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements. Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. Argonaut is willing to break down items into economically feasible packages and we are willing to break out any portion of work to encourage participation. Argonaut’s listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor’s conditions, qualifications, exclusions or exceptions included in the subcontractor’s bid proposal. Argonaut is relying on the price submitted in the subcontractor’s proposal as all-inclusive price for its trade scope found in the plans and specifications regardless of any qualifying language in the proposal. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void. Argonaut written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection at our office in Santa Rosa and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission.
Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming Argonaut Constructors as additional insured; including completed operations coverage; Use form ‘CG-2010-1185’ or equivalent; include Primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
