General Work Description:
The project involved the construction of paved shoulders for Lerdo Highway between Cherry Avenue and Zerker Road. Lerdo highway is a rural four lane divided highway connecting the City of Shafter core area to State Hwy 99. This project will install paved shoulders along the outside lanes of the highway. Minor work items include relocating flashing beacons and traffic striping.

All Listed Items of Work will be considered for Subcontracting, including but not limited to:
Traffic Control, Grade-Subgrade, Grind-Sawcut Edge, Rumble Strip, Fog Seal, Shoulder Backing, Adjust Facilities to Grade, Lead Compliance, Asphalt Oil/Emulsion, Traffic Striping, Relocated Flashing Beacon, Trucking, and Equipment Rental.
