Project Name: Walnut Ave. / Argonaut Way / Parkhurst Dr. Lane Reduction and Roundabout Intersection Street Improvements
Project Description: GHILOTTI CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, INC., is seeking certified DBE subcontractors and suppliers for lane reduction and roundabout intersection improvements in Fremont, CA. The project generally includes the following items of work: Furnishing and maintaining traffic control and pavement delineation throughout the period of construction; maintaining pedestrian barricades and detouring pedestrian traffic around the work area; installing temporary tree protection fencing, saw cutting, demolishing and disposing of existing improvements including trees and shrubs, asphalt pavement and PCC curb and gutter, median curb and gutter, driveway and curb inlet and storm drain pipes; installing new storm drain pipes, inlets and manholes, convert existing curb inlet to field inlet; roadway excavation; installing new PCC curb and gutter, sidewalk, driveways and curb ramps, median curb and gutter, stamped concrete, traffic islands and roundabout; relocating street lights and connecting to existing street light system; completing irrigation system and installing plantings and trees; lowering utilities; installing hot mix asphalt pavement replacement; grinding existing pavement and overlaying; installing traffic signs, striping and pavement markings and raising utilities to final pavement elevation.

Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. GCC’s written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection on GCC’s website (www.ghilotti.com) and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.
Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming GCC as additional insured; including completed operations coverage; Use form ‘CG-2010-1185’ or equivalent; include Primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
