Project Description: Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. is seeking certified DBE subcontractors and suppliers for the Intermodal Transit Center San Francisco Bay Trail in Hercules, CA The work to be done includes construction of a class 1 trail approx. 0.63 miles by 10’ wide (paved), soil nail retaining wall, install storm drain culver under the UPRR tracks via pipe ramming, including grading, paving drainage, sewer relocation, fencing, planting and irrigation.
Engineer's Estimate: $1,959,000.00
DBE Goal: 3%
250 WD / $3,000.00 working day LD

MAINTAINING LIGHTWEIGHT EMBANKMENT MATERIAL, TEMP FENCE (CL-6), TEMP ACTIVE TREATMENT SYSTEM, TEMP FIBER ROLL, TEMP SILT FENCE, STREET SWEEPING, CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS, CLEAR AND GRUB, PLANTING, EROSION CONTROL (HYDROSEED), PLANST ESTABLISHMENT WORK, IRRIGATION SYSTEM, LIME (MATERIAL ONLY), LIME STABILIZED SOIL, PREPARE/PAINT CONCRETE, MINOR CONCRETE (GUTTER), CHAIN LINK FENCE AND TRUCKING
Plans: Plans, specifications and project requirements may be reviewed at our office in Santa Rosa. Plans and specifications can be obtained from the City of Hercules (510) 799-8244, for $300.00 per set. Plans may also be downloaded through the Small Business Development Centers at www.sba.gov/localresources/district/ca/index.html, local plan rooms, builder’s exchanges, Dodge Scan or a GCC closer to your location as well as in trade publications such as Daily Pacific Builder or Daily Construction Services.

GCC may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. (Please note: G.C.C. may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. G.C.C. will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. GCC’s written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection on GCC’s website (www.ghilotti.com) and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.
Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming GCC as additional insured; including completed operations coverage; Use form ‘CG-2010-1185’ or equivalent; include Primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
