Project Description: Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. is seeking certified MBE/WBE subcontractors and suppliers for The Line A-5 Offline Detention Basin in Hayward, CA. Work to be done consists of preparing and implementing water pollution control plan, clearing and grubbing, boring and jacking 42” reinforced concrete pipe, providing excavation and trench protection, dewatering, furnishing and installing 36” reinforced concrete pipe, constructing reinforced manhole and drainage structures, reconstructing sidewalk, curb and gutter, slurry cement backfill, asphalt concrete and aggregate base and all misc. work necessary to complete project.
Engineer's Estimate: $655,000
MBE goal: 15% / WBE Goal: 5%
60 CD/$1,000 per day LD

They may also be viewed and purchased by any prospective bidder online at www.designbidbuild.net/eastbay/planroom?alco, local plan rooms, builder’s exchanges, Dodge Scan or a GCC closer to your location as well as in trade publications such as Daily Pacific Builder or Daily Construction Services.

GCC may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. (Please note: G.C.C. may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. G.C.C. will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. G.C.C. is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.)

GCC’s written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming GCC as additional insured; including completed operations coverage; Use form ‘CG-2010-1185’ or equivalent; include Primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
