Project Title: Nogales Street ( L.A. Subdivision) Grade Separation
Project Location and Descriptions: The Nogales Street Grade Separation Project is located in the City of Industry and unincorporated area of Los Angeles County crossing the Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) Los Angeles Subdivision and Metrolink (Riverside Line) at UPRR milepost (MP) 22.40. This project eliminates the existing at-grade crossing at this location through construction of a roadway underpass.
Project Scope Items: The project work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of typical street features such as curb, gutter, sidewalk, roadway structural section, landscape and irrigation and site improvements, demolition and excavation for underpass bridge substructure elements; construction of piles, pile caps, abutments, columns and column bent, and a UPRR two-track precast/pre-stressed concrete bridge, earth retaining structures, pump station and ground water dewatering systems; grading, preparing site within UPRR right-of-way and construct shoo-fly tracks; storm drain realignment, culverts, sewer, water, utility casings; install street lighting, signals modification, signing and striping; protection and/or relocation of existing dry and wet utilities. Temporary work consists of shoring, excavation support systems and provide traffic control features.
