Granite Construction Company (Granite) requests subquotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified UDBE firms performing commercially useful function for the following items of work, including but not limited to: CONSTRUCTION SITE MGT, SWPPP, CONST AREA SIGNS, T/C SYSTEM, PCMS, OBLITERATE SURFACING, REMOVALS: RDSIDE SIGN, PIPE & INLET, SALVAGE MBGR, COLD PLANE ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT, REMOVE CONCRETE, CLEAR & GRUB, RDWAY EXCAVATION, LEAD COMPLIANCE PLAN, ADL CURIAL LOCATION REPORT,EROSION CONTROL, CLASS 2 AGG BASE, LEAN CONCRETE BASE, HOT MIX ASPHALT, SHOULDER RUMBLE STRIP, TACK COAT, RDSIDE SIGN, PLASTIC PIPE, ROCK SLOPE PROTECTION, RSP FABRIC, MINOR CONCRETE (MISC CONST), MISC IRON & STEEL, VEGETATION CONTROL, THRIE BEAM BARRIER, ALT CRASH CUSHION, WAY,CONCRETE BARRIER, CONCRETE TRANSITION RAILING,THERMO PAVEMENT STRIPING & TRAFFIC STRIPE (SPRAYABLE),PAVEMENT MARKER (RETROREFLECTIVE), TRUCKING

Including items of work normally performed by Granite.
Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Granite will work with interested UDBE subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.
Requirements: Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
