Location: Madera County @ the following locations: Rd 9 from Ave 21 to SR 152; Ave 18 ½ from Golden State Blvd to 1,000 ft East; Rd 24 from Ave 12 to Ave 13; Rd 206 from Rd 145 to County Line Bridge.
BID DATE & TIME: Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 2:00 PM
No bond required for qualified DBE Subcontractors & Suppliers.
Assistance will be made available upon request for: lines of credit, insurance, material, and equipment.
Project Description: Work to be done consists, in general, grinding out, or pulverizing in place, compacting, and re-grading, or overlaying existing roads, depending on the segment, and furnishing and placing a HMA wearing surface on approx. 5.3 miles in Madera County. Work also includes but not limited to, clearing vegetation, adjustment of utility lids, temporary relocation of obstructions, & any work related to the completion of the project per plans & specs.
Bid Items of Work for Consideration of Subcontracting:
All Listed Items of Work will be considered for Subcontracting, including but not limited to:
Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control, Roadway Excavation, Survey Monuments, Roadway Pulverizing, Grading & Shaping, Cold Plane, Asphalt Oil/Emulsion, Finish Roadway, Marking & Striping, Trucking & Equipment Rental.
