Project Description: Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. is seeking certified UDBE subcontractors and suppliers for the San Antonio HSIP Project. Scope of work includes crack sealing, placing AC overlay, AC pavement repair & replacement, place & compact AB, remove & repair sidewalk, curb, gutter and driveway, installing or replacing curb ramps, installing truncated domes, potholing, grading, survey, new concrete valley gutter, landscape work, irrigation and brickwork, striping, legends and pavement markings, repairing base failures, adjusting manholes, catch basins, utility boxes, vaults and monuments to grade.
Engineer's Estimate: $1,500,000.00
UDBE Goal: 4.18%
130 CD and $500.00 per day LD

AC MILLING, PCC BASE REPAIR 8” DEPTH/BUS PAD, ADJUST UTILITY BOX, STRIPING, REMOVE AND REPLACE CONCRETE CURB & GUTTER, VERTICAL CURB, CONCRETE VALLEY GUTTER, CONCRETE CURB RAMP, SIDEWALK AND DRIVEWAY, SIGNAGE, TRAFFIC LOOPS, TRAFFIC SIGNAL CAMERAS, TRAFFIC CONTROL AND TRUCKING.
Plans: Plans, specifications and project requirements may be reviewed at our office in Santa Rosa. Copies of the contract documents are available from the City of Palo Alto Purchasing and Contract Administration, Mezzanine, Civic Center, 250 Hamilton Avenue, Palo Alto, 94301 (650) 329-2271, or local plan rooms, builder’s exchanges, Dodge Scan or a GCC closer to your location as well as in trade publications such as Daily Pacific Builder or Daily Construction Services. Ghilotti Construction Company encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.
Info: Mr. Dan Palmer (707/585 – 1221 or danp@ghilotti.com) is the Estimator for this project and is available to provide you with assistance to clarify any questions regarding the scope of work, including interpretation of plans, specifications and requirements, bid preparation and obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance and any technical assistance. GCC may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. (Please note: G.C.C. may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. G.C.C. will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. G.C.C. is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.)
Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. GCC’s written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection on GCC’s website (www.ghilotti.com) and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.
Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming GCC as additional insured; including completed operations coverage; Use form ‘CG-2010-1185’ or equivalent; include Primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
