Granite Construction Company (Granite) requests subquotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified UDBE firms performing commercially useful function for the following items of work, including but not limited to: CLEAR & GRUB, TREE REMOVALS, EXCAVATION, STRUCTURAL EXCAVATION, STRUCTURE BACKFILL, TENSAR REINFORCEMENT, PYRAMAR SLOPE PROTECTION, FINEGRADING, CLASS II BASE, CONCRETE SHOULDER, CONCRETE PATHWAY AND SIDEWALK, CONCRETE C DITCH, INLET, 18” HDPE PIPE, RIPRAP ENERGY DISSIPATORS, HEADWALL, ROCK LINED DITCH, REINF CONC WALL, METAL RAILING, GUARDRAIL, LANDSSCAPING, PLANT ESTAB WORK, IRRIGATION SYSTEM, INSTALL LWATER METER, ELECTRICAL SERVICE, EROSION CONTROL, CONDUIT, WALL TEXTURE FORMLINER, BENCHES, TRASH RECEPTACLES, ELECTRIC, TRUCKING

Including items of work normally performed by Granite.
Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Granite will work with interested UDBE subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.
Requirements: Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
