Granite Construction Company (Granite) requests subquotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified UDBE firms performing commercially useful function for the following items of work, including but not limited to: CONSTRUCTION SITE MGT, SWPPP, TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM, COLD PLANE ASPHALT CONC PAVEMENT, CLEAR & GRUB, STRUCTURE EXCAVATION, GRAVEL BACKFILL, HWY PLANTING, FURNISH & INSTALL IMPORTED CLASS A TOPSOIL, GRAVEL, MULCH, JUTE MESH, PLANT ESTAB, IRRIGATION SYSTEM, CLASS 2 AGG BASE, SLURRY SEAL, REPLACE ASPHALT CONC SURFACING, HOT MIX ASPHALT, MINOR CONCRETE, STRUCTURE CONCRETE, ARCHITECTURAL TREATMENT, BAR REINF STEEL, ROADSIDE SIGN, RCP, PERFORATED PLASTIC PIPE, PLASTIC PIPE, FILTER FABRIC, CHANEL DRAIN, DRAINAGE MANHOLE, SEWER PIPE, SEWER TERMINAL CLEANOUT, CURB DRAIN, ROCK SLOPE PROTECTION, MINOR CONCRETE (C&G, GUTTER DEPRESSION, DRIVEWAY, SIDEWALK, CURB RAMP), CHAIN LINK FENCE, CABLE RAILING, PAINT TRAFFIC STRIPE, PAINT PAVEMENT MARKING, PAVEMENT MARKER (REFL), PAVEMENT MARKER (BLUE REFL), LIGHTING CONDUIT, BUS SHELTER, TRUCKING.

Including items of work normally performed by Granite.
Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Granite will work with interested UDBE subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.
Requirements: Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
