Granite Construction Company (Granite) requests subquotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified UDBE firms performing commercially useful function for the following items of work, including but not limited to: TEMP FENCE, TEMP TERMINCAL ANCHOR ASSEMBLY, CONSTRUCTION SITE MGT, SWPPP, STORM WATER ANNUAL REPORT, CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS, TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEMS, BARRICADE, CHANNELIZER, PCMS, TEMP RAILING, TEMP ALT CRASH CUSHION, REMOVE PAINTED TRAFFIC STRIPE, RECONSTRUCT MBGR, COLD PLACE ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT, CLEAN AND GRUB, DEVELOP WATER SUPPLY, ROADWAY EXCAVATION, LEAD COMPLIANCE PLAN, STRUCTURE EXCVATION, LEAN CONCRETE BACKFILL, EROSION CONTROL, FIBER ROLLS, CLASS II AGG BASE, HOT MIX ASPHALT, HOT MIX ASPHALT DIKE, TACK COAT, STEEL SOLDIER PILE, DRILLED HOLE, TIEBACK ANCHOR, STRUCTURAL CONCRETE, BAR REINFORCING STEEL, TIMBER LAGGING, SHOTCRETE, PREP & PAINT CONCRETE, MINOR CONCRETE, GUARD RAILING DELINEATOR, THERMO TRAFFIC STRIPE, PAVEMENT MARKER (NON-REFLEC & RETROREFLECTIVE), TRUCKING

Including items of work normally performed by Granite.

Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary.  Granite will work with interested UDBE subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.

Requirements: Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%.  Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
