SANTA MARIA VALLEY WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT
TWITCHELL DAM EMERGENCY DOWNSTREAM CHANNEL FLOW RESTORATION PROJECT

Granite Construction Company (Granite) requests subquotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE/WBE/MBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to:
SWPPP, SITE CLEAR & TREE REMOVAL, GRADE & PREP, EARTHWORK, SITE COMPACTION, TRANSPORT SPOILS TO STOCKPILE, HYDROSEED, CONSTRUCTION MGT/INSPECTION SURVEYING, ENVIRONMENTAL MONITORING, HABITAT MITIGATION & REDUCTION, PAVEMENT REPAIR & DIGOUT, TRUCKING
** ALL SCHEDULE OF BID ITEMS OPEN FOR BID **
Including items of work normally performed by Granite.
Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Granite will work with interested DBE/MBE/WBE subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.
Requirements: Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
