Is requesting quotations from all qualified UDBE Subcontractors and
Material suppliers for the following project with the California
Department of Transportation (CALTRANS):
Contract No. 05-0R2004
Hwy planting, irrigation, gates, gore & pullout paving work on State
Highway in Monterey County in Salinas from 0.2 Mile South of Junction
Route 68/101 Separation to 0.2 Mile South of Sherwood Drive Overcrossing.
District-County-Route-Post Mile: 05-Mon-101-86.6/R87.7
BID DATE AND TIME: December 15, 2010 at 2:00 PM
PLEASE SUBMIT SUB BIDS AND/OR PRICE QUOTES NO LATER THAN 11 AM Bid day.
In your correspondence regarding this project, please reference the
project by name, your UDBE status, and include your name and contact
information.
When submitting a bid, please include UDBE (or DBE) Certification Number
and Expiration Date.
This request includes, but is not limited to subcontractors and/or
suppliers for the following bid items/trades and/or materials:
construction site management;
prepare storm water pollution prevention plan;
temporary fiber roll;
temporary drainage inlet protection;
temporary concrete washout (portable);
storm water annual report;
construction area signs;
traffic control system;
portable changeable message sign;
reconstruct chain link fence; chain link gates;
roadside clearing;
mulch;
plant establishment work;
welded steel pipe conduit (jacking);
roadside paving (miscellaneous areas);
minor concrete (textured paving);
plants;
irrigation materials (pipe / sprinklers / valves etc).
We are willing to consider breaking bid items down into economically
feasible units to facilitate UDBE participation if possible to do so.
