Granite Construction Company (Granite) requests subquotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified UDBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: CONSTRUCTION SITE MGT, SWPPP, RAIN EVENT ACTION PLAN, STORM WATER ANNUAL REPORT, CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS, TRAFFIC CONTROL, TEMPORARY: GRAVEL BAG BERM, DRAINAGE INLET PROTECTION & CONC WASHOUT (PORTABLE), TRAFFIC CONTROL, COLD PLANE AC PAVEMENT, LEAD COMPLIANCE PLANE, DITCH EXCAVATION, IMPORT SHOULDER BACKING, EROSION CONTROL, AGGREGATE BASE (APPROACH SLAB), CRACK TREATMENT, HOT MIX ASPHALT (TYPE B), RUBBERIZED HOT MIX ASPHALT (GAP GRADED), PLACE HOT MIX ASPHALT DIKE (TYPE C), PLACE HOT MX ASPHALT MISC AREA, TACK COAT, REPLACE CONCRETE PAVEMENT (RAPID STRENGTH CONC), SEAL PAVEMENT JOINT, SEAL LONGITUDINAL ISOLATION JOINT, TIE BAR, DOWEL BAR (DRILL & BOND), STRUCTURE CONCRETE, JOINT SEAL, ROCK SLOPE PROTECTION, GUARD RAILING DELINEATOR, MBGR( WOOD POST), TRANSITION RAILING, END CAP, END ANCHOR, ALT INLINE TERMINAL SYSTEM ALT FLARED TERMINAL SYSTEM, THERMO STRIPING & MARKING, PAVEMENT MARKER (NON-REFL & RETRORFL), MAINTAIN EXISTING TRAFFIC MGT SYSTEMS, INDUCTIVE LOOP DETECTOR, MODIFY RAMP METERING SYSTEM, , REMOVALS: MBGR, PAVEMENT MARKER & AC DIKE, TRUCKING.

Including items of work normally performed by Granite.
Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Granite will work with interested UDBE subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.
Requirements: Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
