Project Name: BART Earthquake Safety Program Aerial Structures - A Line South
Project Description: Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. is seeking certified UDBE subcontractors and suppliers for structural modifications of existing elements of the BART system to provide adequate resistance to forces of a major seismic event, including shoring for excavation support, clear & grub, drilling & bonding dowels in concrete, removal & replacement of pavement, curb, gutter, sidewalk & surface features including landscaping.
Engineer's Estimate: $15 - 23 Million
UDBE Goal: 5 %

This request includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Landscape Survey, Demolition, Selective Structure Demolition, Prestressed Concrete, Concrete Reinforcing, Drill & Pressure Grout High-Strength Rods, Frp Column Casings, Structural Steel Framing, Steel Column Casings, Isolation Column Casings, Excavation Support And Protection (Uprr), Drilled Concrete Piers And Shafts (Cidh) At 24-In Dia., Concrete Curbs, Gutters, Walks, Pavement Markings, Signage, Traffic Barriers, Chain Link Fencing & Gates, Planting Irrigation, Sodding, Horse Shoe Pit And Trucking

Ghilotti Construction Company encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.
Mr. Nick Keane, is the Estimator for this project and is available to provide you with assistance to clarify any questions regarding the scope of work, including interpretation of plans and specifications, bid preparation and obtaining bonds, lines of credit and insurance.
(Please note: G.C.C. may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. G.C.C. will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. G.C.C. is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.)
