Project Name: NILES UNION PACIFIC SITE PHASE 2 REMEDIATION PROJECT
Project Description: Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. is seeking certified MBE/WBE subcontractors and suppliers for work on 37482, 37592 and 37682 Niles Blvd in Fremont, CA. The bulk of the work involves excavation and removal of approximately 25,000 tons of soil containing metals and total petroleum hydrocarbons per remediation plans already approved by Cal -EPA, DTSC. Confirmation soil samples will determine the final extent of the excavation and provide clearance for the site. Following clearance, the excavated areas will be backfilled and compacted with imported soil.
Engineer's Estimate: $3,000,000.00
165 CD and $750.00 per day LD
Goals: MBE 24% & WBE 6%

Mr. Thomas Smith is the Estimator for this project and is available to provide you with assistance to clarify any questions regarding the scope of work, including interpretation of plans and specifications, bid preparation and obtaining bonds, lines of credit and insurance.
(Please note: G.C.C. may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Code Sect. 4108. G.C.C. will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. G.C.C. is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractor will be required to sign a job agreement for trades covered under our agreements.)
