CONSTRUCTION OF 2009-2010 COUNTY WIDE MAINTENANCE APPLICATION OF SCRUB SEAL & MICRO-SURFACING

Granite Construction Company (Granite) requests subquotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified UDBE, firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to:
TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM, ASPHALTIC EMULSION, SCRUB SEAL, MICRO-SURFACING, REPLACE ASPHALT CONC SURFACING, PAINT PAVEMENT STRIPING, PAINT PAVEMENT MARKING, PAVEMENT MARKER (REFLEC), PAVEMENT MARKER (BLUE REFL,FIRE HYDRANT), HOT MIX ASPHALT (TYPE B), PLACE AC DIKE, TRUCKING
** ALL SCHEDULE OF BID ITEMS OPEN FOR BID **
Including items of work normally performed by Granite.
Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Granite will work with interested UDBE subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.
Requirements: Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
