Project Name: Bernal Avenue Pavement Rehabilitation Project
Project Description: The work description is: resurfacing of the existing roadway with Open Graded Asphalt Concrete (3,100 tons). Work shall also consist of pavement repairs and installation of 1) traffic detector loops; and 2) concrete curb and gutters, and traffic striping.
Engineer's Estimate: $485,000.00
30 WD and $600.00 per day LD
UDBE Goal: 5.01%

This request includes, but is not limited to, the following:
GRINDING, CRACK SEAL, ADJUST MANHOLE FRAME & COVER TO GRADE, CLASS 1 DELINEATOR, TRAFFIC CONTROL, STRIPING & PAVEMENT MARKINGS AND TRUCKING
Plans, specifications and project requirements may be reviewed at our office in Santa Rosa. They may also be obtained through the City of Pleasanton @ 925/931-5650 or 200 Old Bernal Avenue, Pleasanton, CA, local plan rooms, builder’s exchanges, Dodge Scan or a GCC closer to your location as well as in trade publications such as Daily Pacific Builder or Daily Construction Services. Ghilotti Construction Company encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.
Mr. Jim Petnic is the Estimator for this project and is available to provide you with assistance to clarify any questions regarding the scope of work, including interpretation of plans and specifications, bid preparation and obtaining bonds, lines of credit and insurance.
(Please note: G.C.C. may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Code Sect. 4108. G.C.C. will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. G.C.C. is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractor will be required to sign a job agreement for trades covered under our agreements.)
