Project Name: American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 Pavement Resurfacing Project, Phase C
Project Description: Resurfacing Atherton Avenue from 700 ft. west of Hwy. 37 to 730 ft. east of Olive Avenue and Paradise Drive from 0.07 miles north of Ranch Road (M.P. 2.68) to Trestle Glen Road (M.P. 4.30).
Engineer's Estimate: $1,106,600.00
Work/calendar days: 40 working days
Liquidated damages: $500.00/day
UDBE Goal: 8%

This request includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Trucking, signs and traffic control, clear/grub, demo and removal, AC swale, full width and conform grinding, AC dike, temp. silt and snow fencing, PRF, ADA curb ramp, minor concrete-frame and grate/sidewalk/curb & gutter, striping and pavement markings, painting curb and AC dike, survey monuments, road sign.
Plans, specifications and project requirements may be reviewed at our office in Santa Rosa. They may also be obtained through the County of Marin Dept. of Public Works, Room 404, Civic Center, San Rafael, CA for $50.00/set, 415/499-7877, local plan rooms, builder’s exchanges, Dodge Scan or a GCC closer to your location as well as in trade publications such as Daily Pacific Builder or Daily Construction Services. Ghilotti Construction Company encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.
Mr. Tom Smith, is the Estimator for this project and is available to provide you with assistance to clarify any questions regarding the scope of work, including interpretation of plans and specifications, bid preparation and obtaining bonds, lines of credit and insurance.
(Please note: G.C.C. may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. G.C.C. will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. G.C.C. is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.)
