Project Name: 2009 Pavement Rehabilitation
Project Description: Rehabilitation of existing asphalt concrete pavement throughout the City. Work is to include, but not be limited to, base failure repairs; crack sealing; slurry sealing, milling of existing asphalt concrete; removal of surfacing and base; overlaying using conventional asphalt concrete; lime stabilization of the base; installing pavement reinforcing fabric and engineered mat; constructing concrete curb ramp, driveway, curb and gutter; placement of striping; installing traffic signal detector loops
Engineer's Estimate: $5,500,000.00
110 WD, $1,500.00 LD per day
RBE Participation Goal: 20%

Plan, specifications and project requirements may be reviewed at our office in Santa Rosa. They may also be obtained through THE CITY OF RICHMOND @ http://vendors.planetbids.com/Richmond/biddtl.cfm?BidNo=356&Status=Bidding, local plan rooms, builder's exchanges, Dodge Scan or a GCC closer to your location as well as in trade publications such as Daily Pacific Builder or Daily Construction Services. Ghilotti Construction Company encourages the use of minority and woman subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.
Mr. Thomas Smith is the Estimator for this project and is available to provide you with assistance to clarify any questions regarding the scope of work, including interpretation of plans and specifications, bid preparation and obtaining bonds, lines of credit and insurance.
(Please note: G.C.C. may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Code Sect. 4108. G.C.C. will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. G.C.C. is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractor will be required to sign a job agreement for trades covered under our agreements.)
