Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified UDBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to:
Grind Existing Concrete Pavement, Furnish/Drive Steel Piling (HP 360 X 132), CIDH Piling, Prestressing Cast-In-Place Concrete, Fractures Rib Texture, Drill & Bond Dowel, Furnish P/C Concrete Girder, Sound Wall (Masonry Block), PTFE Spherical Bearing, Masonry Block Wall, Rebar, Furnish/Install Sign Structures, Furnish/Install Roadside Signs, Furnish Reinforced Concrete Pipe, Jack RCP, Gabion, Minor Concrete, Misc. Iron & Steel, Concrete Barrier, Striping, and Signal & Lighting, Street Sweeping, Construction Area Signs, Fencing/MBGR/Railings, Clean Bridge Deck, Bridge and Wall Demolition, Clearing & Grubbing, Imported Borrow, Irrigation/Highway Planting, Class 3 Aggregate Base, Lean Concrete Base, Lean Concrete Base Rapid Setting, Crack Treatment, HMA (Type B), Rubber HMA (GAP Graded), Geosynthetic Pavement Interlayer, Place HMA Dike, Concrete Pavement, Concrete Pavement (Ramp Termini), Concrete Pavement (RSC), Seal Pavement Joints, Dowel Bar (Drill & Bond), Seal Joint (Existing Concrete Pavement).
Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Granite will work with interested subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.
Requirements:
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator. Plans and specifications are available for viewing at our office. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials and/or supplies. Granite intends to work cooperatively with all qualified firms seeking work on this project.
