Project Name: Berryman Reservoir Replacement Project
Project Description: The demolition and disposal of the existing open-cut Berryman Reservoir structure, which includes asbestos, lead based paint and preservative treated wood materials; furnish, design, excavate, and construct a 20-ft high, 346-ft long soil nail wall; furnish and construct site grading and drainage improvements; furnish and construct a 2.6 million gallon welded steel tank with mat foundation, valve pit and associated piping, braced frame supported gravel roof, railing, stairway, brackets, fencing, and related tank appurtenances; furnish and connect a new 24-inch steel pipeline to an existing 30-inch steel pipeline, including flexible connections and flow meter; furnish and construct electrical improvements; furnish and construct landscaping, irrigation, paving and other site improvements complete as shown on the drawings and specified, located on District property in the City of Berkeley, Alameda County, Ca.

This request includes, but is not limited to, the following:
2.6 Million Gallon Welded Steel Tank (Including Roofing, Misc. Metal & Mechanical), Hazardous Abatement, Soil Nail Wall, Fencing, Minor Concrete, Clearing, Electrical Improvements, Landscaping, Irrigation And Trucking
Plans, specifications and project requirements may be reviewed at our office in Santa Rosa. They may also be obtained through EBMUD @ https://portal.ebmud.com/cbo/specifications/default.aspx, local plan rooms, builder’s exchanges, Dodge Scan or a GCC closer to your location as well as in trade publications such as Daily Pacific Builder or Daily Construction Services. Ghilotti Construction Company encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.
Mr. Daniel Palmer is the Estimator for this project and is available to provide you with assistance to clarify any questions regarding the scope of work, including interpretation of plans and specifications, bid preparation and obtaining bonds, lines of credit and insurance.
(Please note: G.C.C. may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Code Sect. 4108. G.C.C. will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. G.C.C. is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractor will be required to sign a job agreement for trades covered under our agreements.)
