Project Name: East Washington Street Pedestrian Crossing Project
Project Description: The general work description is: construction a mid-block pedestrian crossing on East Washington Street near Sky Ranch Drive, including a high visibility overhead warning system (flashing yellow beacons), a pedestrian corral at the mid-point of the crossing, new sidewalks along East Washington Street, utility trenching, a new PG&E service, ADA curb ramps with truncated dome detectable warning panels, striping and signing, high visibility painted railings, pedestrian push buttons for overhead warning system activation either direction from the mid-point of the crossing. The new overhead warning system is designed using standard details and equipment from the California Department of Transportation, including foundations, poles, mast arms and one luminaire for safety lighting.

Work/calendar days: 45 working days
Liquidated damages: $2,000.00/day
UDBE Goal: 6.15%

They may also be obtained through the City of Petaluma's website: http://cityofpetaluma.net/pubworks/bidding-opportunities.html, local plan rooms, builder’s exchanges, Dodge Scan or a GCC closer to your location as well as in trade publications such as Daily Pacific Builder or Daily Construction Services. (Please note: G.C.C. may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. G.C.C. will pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. G.C.C. is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.)
