Description of Work: The Work comprises of traffic signal modifications at the intersections of: Baseline Road and Sycamore Avenue, Baseline Road and Eucalyptus Avenue, Cedar Avenue and Etiwanda Avenue and Alder Avenue and Riverside Avenue in the City of Rialto. The project includes: the installation of new traffic signal poles, traffic signal cabinet with new controller unit, conduit, pull boxes, cabling, signal heads, APS pedestrian push buttons, ADA curb ramps, Video Detection, and EVP at the previously named intersections.

Comet Electric, Inc requests subquotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms performing commercially useful function for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Traffic Control, Clearing and Miscellaneous Removals, Erosion Control,Water Pollution, Sidewalk, Curb Ramp, Asphalt Concrete (AC) Pedestrian Landing and AC Miscellaneous, Signing and Striping.

Comet Electric, Inc is willing to break items of work into smaller increments to assist DBE Contractors and Suppliers in obtaining work on this project. 100% Performance and Payment bonds required. Subcontractor’s must possess a current contractor’s license.

Requirements: No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
