Griffith Company Requests Sub-bids from All Qualified & Certified DBE Subcontractors/Suppliers for: Contracting Agency: City of Tehachapi - ATPL-5184(040) The project consists of installing concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk, RRFBs, and pavement construction along Dennison Avenue from Pinon Street to Tehachapi Boulevard. Additionally, the project includes the removal and installation of signing and striping improvements, Scope of Work: Mobilization & Demobilization, Traffic Control, Water Pollution Prevention and Dust Control, Survey & Staking, Clearing and Grubbing, Miscellaneous Demolition and Disposal, Miscellaneous Facilities and Operations, Sawcut & Remove Asphalt Concrete, Tree Removal, Hot Mix Asphalt (Asphalt Concrete), Aggregate Base (Class II), Install Residential Drive Approach, Install Accessibility Ramps, Minor Concrete Curb and Gutter (Curb and Gutter, Separate from Ramp Details and Drive Approach Detail), Minor Concrete Sidewalk (Sidewalks, Separate from Ramp Details and Drive Approach Detail), Concrete Median Curb, Install 2” Non-Potable Water Pipe, Install 24” Storm Drain Pipe, Install 36” Storm Drain Pipe, Storm Drain Connection to Existing, Install Drain Inlet, Install Blinker Sign, Signing, Pavement Striping, and Marking, Record Drawings. Requirements: Griffith Company is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. 100% performance and payment bonds required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation insurance coverage meeting Griffith’s requirements. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the Estimator.
