suppliers, subcontractors and service providers for Napa County project
PW 17-05,
NAPA RIVER RESTORATION OAKVILLE TO OAK KNOLL, GROUP A SITES REVEGETATION
PROJECT,
This project bids December 15, 2016 at 3:30 pm.
Please submit quotes no later than Noon on bid day.
With your quote, please include the project name and or number and bid
date, and be sure to provide your name and contact information and if
applicable, your DBE certification number or status, contractor's
license number and DIR registration number.
WABO Landscape & Construction, Inc. seeks quotes from qualified DBE
subcontractors and service providers for work on this project,
including, but not limited to the following bid items:*Invasive
Vegetation Management Zone initial removal and management of target
species, Native shrub, grass/forb, and acorn seeding (including compost
and hydrostraw/mulch applications), Container plant installation (1
Gallon), Container plant installation (Treepot 4), Container plant
installation (Deepot), Container plant installation (Plug), Container
plant installation (Liner), Container plant installation (Super Stubby),
Live pole cutting installation, Irrigation delivery system Installation,
As-built records, Annual maintenance & reporting - Years 1, 2, & 3,
Annual monitoring & reporting - Year 1, 2, & 3.

WABO also requests quotes from vendors, particularly vendors who are
DBEs for all materials and supplies required for this project including
plant materials.
This project is partially funded by the United States Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA), so DBE status is determined using EPA criteria.
The EPA accepts California UCP certified DBEs who are US Citizens as
being EPA approved DBEs. However, UCP certification is not required to
be an EPA approved DBE. To see if your firm will be recognized as a DBE

WABO will work with interested Subcontractors to identify opportunities
to break bid items down into economically feasible units. Contact us to
do so, or if you have any questions related to this project or wish to
discuss the plans, specifications or requirements of the contract.
Subcontractors will be required to meet our insurance requirements and
bonds may be required. Please contact us if you need help in obtaining
bonding, insurance, lines of credit, equipment, materials, supplies or some other form of assistance in order to participate. Plans and specs

Please note that this is a Federal Aid project and is therefore subject
to Federal Prevailing Wage provisions and other Federal requirements.
