Granite Construction Company (Granite) requests subquotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms performing commercially useful function for the following items of work, including but not limited to:
SAND & GRAVEL, MISC SUPPLIERS, SAFETY, LANDSCAPING & NURSERY, ASPHALT, CONCRETE & CEMENT, PIPE, PAVEMENT MARKERS, CONSTRUCTION STAKING, CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS, TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM, PLANE ASPHALT CONCRETE, CLEARING & GRUBBING, ROADWAY EXCAVATION, GRADING, STRUCTURE EXCAVATION, IRRIGATION SYSTEM, AGGREGATE BASE, ASPHALT CONCRETE, PAVING ASPHALT (ASPHALT CONCRETE), PLACE ASPHALT CONCRETE DIKE & MISC, RECYCLE, RECLAIM ASPHALT CONCRETE, PORTLAND CEMENT & CONCRETE PAVEMENT, GROOVE & GRIND PAVEMENT, CONCRETRE STRUCTURE, REINFORCING STEEL, ROADSIDE SIGN, REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE, PLASTIC PIPE, CONCRETE CURB & SIDEWALK-MISC, THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPE & MARKING, PAINTED TRAFFIC STRIPE & MARKING, PAVEMENT MARKING, MESSAGE SIGNS, LIGHTING & SIGN ILLUMINATION, SURVEOR, BOTTOM DUMP TRUCKING, TRUCK RENTAL, TRUCK BROKER, SMALL STRUCTURES, LAND SURVEYING, CUTTING, CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT RENTAL, LUMBER & OTHER BUILDING MATERIALS

Including items of work normally performed by Granite.
Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Granite will work with interested DBE subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.
Requirements: Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
