Project Name: County Road 98 Safety Improvement Project
Project Description: Ghilotti Construction Company, Inc. is seeking certified DBE subcontractors and suppliers for the County Road 98 Safety Improvements Project in Yolo County, CA. Road work includes in general, but is not limited to grind and move existing road structure; excavate the new road foot print; place road structure grindings as aggregate subase; provide and place aggregate base; provide and place asphalt concrete; remove existing drainage structures; construct drainage structures, place traffic stripes, markers, and markings; place signs; widen two bridges as described below, and other details as shown on the plans. The bridge work on Dry Slough Bridge consists, in general, of removing portions of the Dry Slough Bridge and widening the bridge deck 9 feet 8.5 inches on both sides, constructing approach slabs, modifying abutment 1 and replacing the bridge rail, as shown on the plans, The bridge work on Willow Slough consists, in general, of removing portions of the Willow Slough Bridge and widening the bridge deck 11 feet 5 inches on the east side, constructing approach slabs and replacing the bridge rail, as shown on the plans.

Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. GCC’s written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection on GCC’s website (www.ghilotti.com) and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.
Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming GCC as additional insured; including completed operations coverage; Use form ‘CG-2010-1185’ or equivalent; include Primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
