Granite Construction Company (Granite) requests subquotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified UDBE firms performing commercially useful function for the following items of work, including but not limited to: PROGRESS SCHEDULE (CRITICAL PATH METHOD); TIME-RELATED OVERHEAD; CONSTRUCTION SITE MANAGEMENT; PREPARE WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PROGRAM; CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS; TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM; CHANNELIZER (SURFACE MOUNTED) (LEFT IN PLACE); PORTABLE CHANGEABLE MESSAGE SIGN; REMOVE YELLOW THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPE (HAZARDOUS WASTE); REMOVE THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPE; REMOVE THERMOPLASTIC PAVEMENT MARKING; REMOVE CHANNELIZERS; COLD PLANE ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT; LEAD COMPLIANCE PLAN; IMPORTED MATERIAL (SHOULDER BACKING); ASPHALTIC EMULSION (FOG SEAL COAT); REPLACE ASPHALT CONCRETE SURFACING; HOT MIX ASPHALT (TYPE A); HOT MIX ASPHALT (OPEN GRADED); RUMBLE STRIP; DATA CORE; TACK COAT; 4" THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPE; 8" THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPE; THERMOPLASTIC PAVEMENT MARKING; 4" THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPE (BROKEN 16-8); 4" THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPE (BROKEN 36-12); 4" THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPE (BROKEN 17-7); PAVEMENT MARKER (NON-REFLECTIVE); PAVEMENT MARKER (RETROREFLECTIVE); MAINTAINING EXISTING TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ELEMENTS DURING CONSTRUCTION; MOBILIZATION.

** ALL SCHEDULE OF BID ITEMS OPEN FOR BID **

Including items of work normally performed by Granite.

Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary.  Granite will work with interested UDBE subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.

Requirements: Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%.  Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
