Granite Construction Company (Granite) requests subquotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified UDBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to:
CONSTRUCTION SITE MGT, SWPPP, WPCP, RAIN EVENT ACTION PLAN, TEMP FENCE, CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS, PAVEMENT MARKING, PCMS, TEMP KRAIL, CLEAR & GRUB, RDWAY EXCAVATION, IMPORT BORROW, FIBER ROLLS, PLANT ESTAB WORK, IRRIGATION SYSTEM, CLASS 2 AGG BASE, HOT MIX ASPHALT, PLACE HOT MIX ASPHALT DIKE, PLACE HOT MIX ASPHALT, RDSIDE SIGN, CMP, STEEL, CHAIN LINK FENCE, OBJECT MARKERS, TERMINAL SYSTEM, MBGR, PAVEMENT MARKING, PAVEMENT MARKERS, PAVEMENT MARKERS”RUMBLE STRIP, TRUCKING, REMOVALS: MBGR, RDSIDE SIGN, AND FENCE.

Including items of work normally performed by Granite.
Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Granite will work with interested UDBE subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.
Requirements: Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
