General work description: Place rubberized hot mix asphalt (gap graded) on existing pavement Construction On State Highway In Kern County Near Bradys From 0.7 Mile South Of North Junction Route 178 To Inyo County Line
ITEMS REQUESTED (BUT NOT LIMITED TO):
Construction Area Signs, Traffic Control System, Plane Asphalt Concrete, Imported Borrow, Paving Asphalt, Message Signs/Lighting/Illumination, Painted Traffic Stripe/Marking, Bottom Dump Trucking, Trucking.
Granite Construction Company is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% Performance & payment bonds may be required for the full amount of Subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractors license, insurance and Worker's compensation coverage meeting Granite's requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the Estimator.
