Granite Construction Company (Granite) requests subquotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified UDBE, firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to:
CONSTRUCTION SITE MGT, SWPPP, TEMP CONC WASHOUT, CONSTRUCTION AREA SIGNS, TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM, PCMS, REMOVE RDSIDE SIGN, REMOVE ASPHALT CONCRETE, REMOVE ASPHALT CONCRETE DIKE, REMOVE INLET, RECONSTRUCT THRIE & DOUBLE BEAM BARRIER, RECONSTRUCT MBGR, RECONSTRUCT TRANSITION RAILING, RECONSTRUCT ALT FLARED TERMINAL SECTION, ADJUST INLET, ADJUST MBGR, ADJUST SLOTTED RAIN TO GRADE, COLD PLANE ASPHALT CONCRETE PAVEMENT, SALVAGE CRASH CUSHION, LEAD COMPLIANCE PLAN, IMPORT MATERIAL (SHLDR BACKING), HOT MIX ASPHALT (TYPE A), RUMBLE STRIP, DATA CORE, PLACE HOT MIX ASPHALT DIKE (TYPE A,C,E,F) PLACE HOT MIX ASPHALT (MISC AREA), TCK COAT, CONCRETE PILING, MINOR CONCRETE, FURNISH PANEL SIGNS, RDSIDE SIGN, RCP, CSP, MIS CIRON & STEEL, TRANSITION RAILING, END ANCHOR, ALT INLINE TERMINAL SYSTEM, ALT FLARED TERMINAL SYSTEM, THERMOPLASTIC PAVEMENT MARKING, THERMOPLASTIC TRAFFIC STRIPE (SPRAYABLE), PAVEMENT MARKER (NON-REFLC), PAVEMENT MARKER (RETROREFL), INDUCTIVE LOOP DETECTOR, MODIFY SIGNAL, TRUCKING.

Including items of work normally performed by Granite.
Quotations will be broken down into comparable packages as reasonably necessary. Granite will work with interested UDBE subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages.
Requirements: Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation coverage meeting Granite’s requirements and will be required to sign the standard Granite Subcontract Agreement. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreement can be obtained by contacting the estimator.
