History
Big Ben Engineering is a family owned business founded in 1999 by Ben Sharifi. Even though Ben has since retired and turned the day-to-day operations over to his son Sep, he is still involved and ensures the core values he put forth into his company still stands today. So while Big Ben Engineering is the preferred contractor for large projects for many of the larger cities, and even while employing a large staff, Big Ben operates with the principles of a small family business and with three things always in mind; commitment, integrity and excellence.
Founder
Ben Sharifi
Ben Sharifi opened the doors to Big Ben Construction in 1999 after leaving a full-time job as a General Contractor with K.V. Mart Co. Ben brought over 20 years of civil engineering experience with him. He created the company based on the core values of commitment, integrity, and excellence. Utilizing decades of experience and expertise from a wide range of building construction projects, Ben has provided his clients with the best work and never settles for anything less. Over the last three decades, he has worked on several large infrastructure projects all over Southern California. Ben is an avid soccer fan who played during his college years. He loves playing ping pong and spending time with his wife and eight grandchildren.

Sepehr Sharifi
Sep graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a double major in Biology and Business. After College, Sep tried his hand in the medical profession before realizing his true passion of working for and with his dad and helping him run Big Ben Engineering. After joining the company in 2007, he took over in 2011, and has since added more services to the large list of Big Ben capabilities. Sep is an avid Lakers fan, likes to play sports, and spends all his free time with his wife Jenn, and their four kids.

Art Dominguez
Art is one of the most senior and contributing members of the Big Ben family. He has been with Big Ben since the beginning and serves as Sep's right hand. His knowledge and expertise in construction and underground utilities is second to none. Outside of work, Art enjoys time with his wife Yvette and their kids, as well as watching the LA Dodgers.
