Engineers Estimate: $7,282,366.00

 DBE/WBE/MBE Minority Goal: 18%

Time for Completion 160 Working Days and Liquidated Damages $6,800.00 per Calendar day

This request includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Cold planing existing roadway, PCC concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk, curb ramps, island passageway, driveway, traffic circle, vertical curb, bus pad, and detectable warning surface,  median and median repair, adjusting utilities to grade ( sewer manhole, storm drain manhole, traffic signal box, cathodic protection, and street light box), thermoplastic pavement markings and striping, green thermoplastic marking, red curb paint, bike boulevard marking, shared roadway bicycle marking, bike lane buffer,  type D marker, blue pavement marker  water pollution control, trucking, water trucks, construction area signs and temporary signage, portable changeable message boards, hot mix asphalt supplier, metal bollards, salvage & reset signs and posts, Asphalt oil tankers, traffic control,   construction layout and staking, remove item (trees, portland cement concrete, full depth ac, pavement striping and markings, sign post & foundation, storm drain RCP, storm drain inlet, culvert, rubber curb, brick, abandoned gas line, storm drain,), crack sealing, slurry seal, HDPE  and PVC pipe suppliers, precast concrete inlet, junction box and manholes, grated line drain, mulch, traffic signal modifications and electrical work,   textured colored asphalt concrete, curb cut inlets, trench dam, bio retention underdrain, flexible delineators,  rubber lane separators, structural soil, soil preparation and amendments, sheet mulch system.

Copies of the contract documents are available from www.Planetbids.com or local plan rooms, builder’s exchanges, Dodge Global Network as well as in trade publications such as Daily Pacific Builder or Daily Construction Services. Argonaut Constructors encourages the use of minority and women subcontractors and suppliers and considers such to be an important aspect of the project.

Argonaut Constructors (Argonaut) may also assist in obtaining any necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related services. (Please note: Argonaut may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108.  Argonaut may pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. Argonaut Constructors is a UNION CONTRACTOR.  Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.

Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. Argonaut is willing to break down items into economically feasible packages and we are willing to break out any portion of work to encourage participitation. Argonaut’s listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor’s conditions, qualifications, exclusions or exceptions included in the subcontractor’s bid proposal. Argonaut is relying on the price submitted in the subcontractor’s proposal as all-inclusive price for its trade scope found in the plans and specifications regardless of any qualifying language in the proposal. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.  Argonaut written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection at our office in Santa Rosa and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission.
Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming Argonaut Constructors as additional insured; including completed operations coverage;; include Primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
