General work description: HWY 680 Alameda Rock Slope Protection
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to: Construction Staking; Construction Area Signs; Traffic Control System; Plane Asphalt Concrete; Hydroseeding; Erosion Control; Temporary Erosion Control; Place Asphalt Concrete Dike & Misc; Subsurface Drain; Concrete Curb & Sidewalk- Misc; Saw Cutting; Object Marker; Thermoplastic Traffic Striping & Marking; Pavement Marker; Maintaining Existing Traffic Mgmt System Elements During Construction; Lighting (Installation Of Street Lights); Lead Compliance; Biological Resources Studies; Super 10 Dump Truck; End Dump Truck
The DBE Contract goal is 22 percent.
The estimated cost of the project is $1,690,000.

You’ll need a login and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement to access plans. Due to Covid-19 & Social Distancing requirements, we are not currently scheduling appointments to review project docs or meet with estimators in our office. Firms must possess & provide current contractor’s license number & DIR Registration number on the quote. No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
Granite Construction Company (Granite) is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons and Carpenters unions. 100% performance and payment bonds may be required for the full amount of subcontract price. Granite will pay for bond premium up to 1.5%.
