General work description: This is a Federally Funded Project that consists of constructing an approximately 9,833 foot long, 10-foot wide, paved multimodal trail. As this is a federally funded project, the federal provisions control if any County or State provisions conflict with the federal provisions. Sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the bid documents, drawings and plans, specifications and special conditions related hereto.

Herback General Engineering is requesting quotes from all qualified subcontractors and suppliers including certified DBE firms for the following items of work, including but not limited to:Mobilization & Demobilization, Dust Control And & Dewatering, Clear, Grub & Demolition, Revegetation, Temporary Traffic Control, Temporary Erosion Control & Bmps, Mass Grading & On-Site Earthwork, Import Structural Fill, Pcc Sidewalk Section, Type 1 Pcc Curb & Gutter, Flexible Pavement Section, Gravel Shoulder Section, Willow Control Fabric, Bollard, Boat Access Ramp, Adjust Existing Utility Covers To Grade, Site Signage, Pavement Markings, Barbed Wire Fence, Wood Split Rail Fence, Pedestrian Ramp, 15” Rcp Culvert Remove And Relocate, 15” Cmp Culvert, 18” Cmp Culvert, 18” Rcp Culvert, 24” Cmp Culvert, 36” Cmp Culvert, 14’X3’ Reinforced Concrete Box Culvert, Rock Riprap Reinforcement, Irrigation Head Gate, Utility Trenching, Pull Box

For any bid proposal submitted on or after March 1, 2015 and any contract for public work entered into on or after April 1, 2015, the following registration requirements apply: Every Subcontractor is required to be registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5 of the Public Contract Code. No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal pursuant to Section 4104 of the Public Contract Code, or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. No bid shall be accepted nor any subcontract entered into without proof of the Subcontractors current registration to perform public work pursuant to Section 1725.5. PLEASE PROVIDE DIR # WITH QUOTE See specifications for exact insurance requirements and verbiage. We will assist with obtaining insurance, bonds or lines of credit, equipment, supplies or materials necessary to participate in this project. If 3rd tier Subcontractors are being used, they must be noted on the quote and only perform no more than 0.05% of the scope of work being quoted.
