General work description: In general consists of, but is not limited to, the following Work: the installation of the new HAWK signal systems including installation of conduits, pull boxes, signal heads, sensor units, signal controller, pedestrian countdown heads, pedestrian push buttons, traffic striping, markings, and traffic control; hauling and disposal; removal of crosswalk marking, construction of curb ramp.

Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to: Sawcut And Remove Existing Planter, Sawcut And Remove Existing Curb, Sawcut And Remove Existing Concrete Curb Ramp, Construct Concrete Curb Ramp, Construct Detectable Warning Surface, Construct Concrete Curb, Remove And Salvage Sign, Remove And Salvage Parking Meters, Remove Pedestrian Push Button Post, Install Handrail Barricade With Double Face Signs, Installation Of Hawk Signal At Mlk Blvd And Stockwell Dr., Traffic Signing, Striping, Markings And Curb Painting, Provide Construction Survey, Install Public Improvement Project Signs, Mobilization.

Comet Electric, Inc is willing to break items of work into smaller increments to assist DBE Contractors and Suppliers in obtaining work on this project. 100% Performance and Payment bonds required. Subcontractor’s must possess a current contractor’s license.

Requirements: No Contractor or Subcontractor shall be qualified to bid on, be listed in a bid proposal or engage in the performance of any contract for public work, unless currently registered to perform public work with the Dept of Industrial Relations https://efiling.dir.ca.gov/PWCR/Search.action
