DBE Goal: 18 %

Time for Completion 60 Working Days and Liquidated Damages $4,000.00 per Calendar day

This request includes, but is not limited to, the following: Construction area signs, lead compliance plan, trucking, water trucks, HMA and RHMA material supplier, tack oil supplier, traffic control, jobsite management, temporary items (concrete washout, railing Type K, drainage inlet protection, traffic stripe paint, pavement markings paint, high visibility fence, fiber roll, pedestrian access route, alternative crash cushion, silt fence, signals) portable changeable message signs, water pollution control program, pedestrian barricade, pavement markers,  class II aggregate base,   channelizers surface mounted, treated wood waste, structure backfill, rock blanket, demo concrete, wood mulch fiber rolls, cold plane ac, structural concrete (retaining wall & drainage inlet), alternative culvert pipe, galvanized steel pipe, detectable warning surface, minor concrete (curb & gutter & sidewalk), construction surveys, misc. iron & steel, adjust utilities, bus shelter, roadside signs, aluminum signage, fencing, thermo striping and pavement markings, modify signals & lighting, street sweeping.

(Please note: Argonaut may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108.  Argonaut may pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. Argonaut Constructors is a UNION CONTRACTOR.  Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.

Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. Argonaut is willing to break down items into economically feasible packages and we are willing to break out any portion of work to encourage participitation. Argonaut’s listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor’s conditions, qualifications, exclusions or exceptions included in the subcontractor’s bid proposal. Argonaut is relying on the price submitted in the subcontractor’s proposal as all-inclusive price for its trade scope found in the plans and specifications regardless of any qualifying language in the proposal. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void.  Argonaut written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection at our office in Santa Rosa and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission.

Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming Argonaut Constructors as additional insured; including completed operations coverage, include primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
