Caliba, Inc. is requesting quotations from all qualified DVBE subcontractors and material suppliers performing commercially useful functions for the following project:

Project Description: Installation of interim housing at El Rincon Elementary School, including associated site improvements and utility connections. Construction must be coordinated with ongoing school operations.

Subcontracting and supplier opportunities include, but are not limited to:
Site Preparation and Grading; Excavation, Trenching and Backfill; Domestic Water Piping; Sanitary Sewer Piping and Cleanouts; Portable Classroom Installation and Foundations; Accessible Ramps and Landings; Handrails and Guardrails; Concrete Work; Fencing, Gates and Hardware; Parking Lot Striping and Pavement Markings; Signage; Detectable Warning Surfaces; Wheel Stops; Electrical and Power Connections; Exterior Lighting and Controls; Fire Alarm Systems; and Low-Voltage, Communications, Fiber Optic and Data Cabling.

Caliba, Inc. is willing to break items of work into smaller increments to assist DVBE contractors and suppliers in obtaining work on this project. 100% performance and payment bonds are required. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license. Please contact our Bidding Department for details.

Please call if assistance is needed in obtaining bonding, lines of credit, insurance, equipment, materials, supplies, plans, or related technical assistance. Caliba, Inc. intends to seriously negotiate with qualified firms for project participation.

Include your company name, contact information, work items quoted, DVBE certification number, DIR registration number, and contractor’s license number, as applicable.
