Ames Construction, Inc. is seeking certified and qualified SBE/VSBE subcontractors and suppliers to meet the
combined 27% goal for the following:

SBE/VSBE Subs/Suppliers required include but are not limited to: Demolition, removal, and disposal of existing improvements including, but not limited to, railroad tracks, railroad ties, asphalt concrete (AC) pavement, utilities, reinforced concrete structures, poles, signs, fencing, and miscellaneous obstructions. Demo of abandoned utilities. Protection of existing abandoned oil wells and Utilities Construction of new roads, traffic control, landscaping with irrigation systems. Excavation, segregation, onsite placement of non-contaminated soil, and offsite disposal of contaminated material. Earthwork and grading of the Site. Concurrent removal, treatment, and offsite disposal of contaminated groundwater. SWPPP, storm drainage system, sewer, water, micro tunneling, electrical, and lighting systems, sewer lift station, including SCADA system, retaining wall, fencing, and gates.

Ames Construction, Inc. will work with subcontractors and suppliers to break down items into feasible economical packages and to establish delivery/construction schedules to allow for maximum SBE/VSBE participation. Ames will require bidder to provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the Subcontract values.  Costs of the bonds are to be provided as a separate line item.
