General work description:The purpose of this Project is to rehabilitate approximately 1.6 miles of existing asphalt concrete pavement on Airport Road and a portion of Hot Creek Hatchery Road. Hot Creek Hatchery Road will be widened approximately four feet on each side to provide paved bike lanes up to the Airport Road intersection from Highway 395. Airport Road will be widened approximately three feet on each side to provide paved bike lanes for the entire length of road. Existing culverts crossing under Airport Road will be repaired and/or replaced as necessary. Associated signs, paint striping, and paint markings are included in the project.
