Project Description: The work involves the reconstruction and rehabilitation of an existing asphalt concrete roadway, including PCC improvements, cold planing, excavation, subgrade preparation, compaction, placement of pavement reinforcement grid interlayer, placement of hot mix asphalt concrete, curb ramp removal and construction, survey monument frame and cover and manhole ring and cover double adjustments to grade, and striping, legends, pavement markings and delineation. Additionally, this project includes the removal and construction of portions of sewer and sewer laterals and the replacement of existing manholes.

Quotes for Services and Supplies requested for the following items for bid including, but not limited to:  Mobilization, Demobilization, Permits, Bonds and Insurance, AC Pavement Removal and Reconstruction, Remove and Reconstruct Curb and Gutter, Remove and Reconstruct ADA Curb Ramp Per Plan, Remove and Reconstruct Spandrel/Cross Gutter, Cold Milling, Crack Seal (¼” to 1½”), Crack Fill (>1½”), High Tensile Fiber (HTF), Type A 2inch Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete Overlay, Slurry Seal Joint Treatment, Double Adjust Sewer Manhole Frame and Cover to Finished Grade, Double Adjust Sewer Cleanout Frame and Cover to Finished Grade, Double Adjust Survey Monument Frame and Cover to Finished Grade, Removing Existing Grade Ring and Cover. Install Grade Ring and Cover Per Plan, Install Signing and Striping Complete Per Plan, Traffic Control Plan/Traffic Control/Construction Area Signs, Construction Survey/Staking/Record Drawings, Quality Control Program/Materials Testing, Site Cleanup, Environmental Training/Pre-Construction Surveys.

Griffith Company will work with interested subcontractors to identify opportunities to break down items into economically feasible packages. 

Requirements: Griffith Company is signatory to Operating Engineers, Laborers, Teamsters, Cement Masons, and Carpenters Unions. 100% performance and payment bonds required for the full amount of the subcontract price. Subcontractors must possess a current contractor’s license, insurance and worker’s compensation insurance coverage meeting Griffith’s requirements. A copy of the insurance requirements and agreements can be obtained by contacting the Estimator. Please call if you need assistance in obtaining bonding, insurance, equipment, materials, and/or supplies.
