Ames Construction, Inc. is seeking certified and qualified DBE subcontractors and suppliers to meet the 23% goal for the following:

PROJECT: Construction Services for SR-60/Potrero Blvd Interchange Project-Phase II
(IFB ID # 25-72-078-00)
OWNER: Riverside County Transportation Commission

DBE Subs/Suppliers required include but are not limited to: Project includes widening Potrero Boulevard on both sides of SR-60 to six (6) lanes, adding two (2) new diagonal on-ramps, two (2) new loop on-ramps, two (2) new diagonal off-ramps, and realigning western Knolls Avenue with Potrero Boulevard located north of the proposed interchange. Soliciting subs for the following trades traffic control, construction area signs, SWPP reporting, erosion control, clearing and grubbing, noise monitoring, demo, landscaping, HMA, asphalt dike, JPCP, CIDH, sign structure, rebar, roadside signs, drainage, RSP, fencing, minor concrete, painting, electrical, guardrail, barrier, pavement marking, rumble strips, sanitary sewer. Soliciting the following material suppliers, aggregates, misc. metals, concrete, drainpipe, sewer pipe, traffic control items, erosion control, on and off-site trucking. Open to receiving quotes from all interested subs and suppliers and are not limited to the listed trades. Ames Construction, Inc. will work with subcontractors and suppliers to break down items into feasible economical packages and to establish delivery/construction schedules to allow for maximum DBE participation.

Ames will require bidder to provide performance and payment bonds for the full amount of the Subcontract values.  Costs of the bonds are to be provided as a separate line item. Ames’ Subcontract terms and conditions will apply to any contracts resulting from this request. The Subcontractor, by submission of its bid, agrees to the “Terms and Conditions” including all Exhibits and Attachments of Ames Subcontract Agreement.
