Project Description: Argonaut Constructors is seeking certified DBE subcontractors and suppliers for this Cold plane AC pvmt., RHMA (Gap Graded) overlay, and replace guardrail project.
Engineers Estimate: $13,900,000.00
DBE Goal: 14 %
Time for Completion 75-105 Working Days and Liquidated Damages $10,000.00 per Calendar day

Construction area signs, lead compliance plan, trucking, water trucks, HMA and RHMA material supplier, tack oil supplier, traffic control, jobsite management, temporary items (concrete washout, drainage inlet protection, check dam, railing Type K, traffic stripe paint, pavement marking paint, hydraulic mulch bonded fiber matrix) 6” and 8” thermoplastic striping and markings install and removal, paint stripe, cold plane asphalt, portable changeable message signs, water pollution control plan, pavement markers, shoulder backing, crack treatment, install hot mix asphalt dike type A, C, D, and F, flashing arrow sign, type III barricades, channelizers surface mounted, flashing beacon portable, alternative temporary crash cushion, asbestos compliance plan, treated wood waste, progress schedule critical path method, dust control plan NOA, imported borrow, wood mulch, asphalt binder Geosynthetic pavement interlayer and asphalt binder paving fabric, date core, remove ac dike, adjust monument cover to grade, guard rail delineator, reset roadside sign one post, furnish shingle sheet aluminum sign 0.063” and 0.80” unframed, furnish single sheet aluminum sign 00.063” and 0.80” Framed, retroreflective sheeting type XI, install roadside sign panel on existing post, midwest guard rail system, vegetation control (minor concrete), wildlife passage way type S, concrete barrier type 60 M, concrete transition barrier, concrete transition barrier connection to type 50, remove and reconstruct guardrail, remove concrete barrier type 50, 12” rumble strip asphalt concrete pavement, modify existing electrical system.

(Please note: Argonaut may require Payment & Performance Bonds on all sub-contracts over $25,000 per Ca. Public Contract Code Sect. 4108. Argonaut may pay bond premiums up to 1 ½% of contract cost. Argonaut Constructors is a UNION CONTRACTOR. Any non-signatory subcontractors will be required to sign an agreement for trades covered under our agreements.
Requirements: By submitting a proposal, the bidder affirms that they have carefully examined ALL the bidding documents/Addenda and that from his/her own investigation, they have satisfied themselves as to the nature and location of the work. Argonaut is willing to break down items into economically feasible packages and we are willing to break out any portion of work to encourage participitation. Argonaut’s listing of a subcontractor is not an acceptance of any or all of that subcontractor’s conditions, qualifications, exclusions or exceptions included in the subcontractor’s bid proposal. Argonaut is relying on the price submitted in the subcontractor’s proposal as all-inclusive price for its trade scope found in the plans and specifications regardless of any qualifying language in the proposal. Inconsistent bid terms and conditions shall be void. Argonaut written subcontract document execution is required of all successful subcontract bidders. A copy is available for inspection at our office in Santa Rosa and/or can be provided upon written request prior to bid submission.
Insurance: As per our insurance requirements, your bid must include the cost of naming Argonaut Constructors as additional insured; including completed operations coverage, include primary and Non-Contributing wording on your certificate of insurance and waiver of subrogation is required.
